This year we could not be happier about the category we have been awarded: “Best Customer Care and Support”. We are pleased that the effort our entire team makes every day to make patients feel as accompanied as possible is appreciated.
For more than 40 years we have been helping women and couples all over the world to achieve their dream of having a healthy baby. Since the clinic was founded, there is one thing that has always moved us, and that is that the patients remember us. They say that we are like their family. They do not see us as merely a clinic that does the ‘tests’ and ‘the embryo transfer’, but they remember our names. The patients send us funny pictures of them being pregnant and they sometimes return to the clinic to introduce us to their children.
Why is it crucial to be gentle with patients?
Assisted reproduction treatments are very emotional processes, sometimes complicated. People who undergo them sometimes have negative feelings that makes bitter the situation of not being able to start a family. People who suffer from sterility or infertility need specialists to hold their hands and assure them that everything possible will be done to make it work. Unfortunately, this is not always the case. To hear so many stories of patients who come to us without hope, with the feeling of wanting to give up because they have not been treated very well in other clinics or hospitals, breaks our hearts.
In a long list of patients seeking to have a baby, they need not feel like just another number. The goal is for everyone to feel unique, to feel that there is a team that cares about them and will invest all the time and effort necessary to study their case. To achieve their dream. We accompany our patients from the first contact they have with the clinic until the baby has arrived in the world, and in many cases, afterwards.
If patient support is already relevant in normal situations, by 2020 it has become essential for us to alleviate all the fears and doubts that the COVID-19 has caused. That is why winning this award in this difficult time means a lot to us!
